Which horses will benefit from Fortifier supplementation? A: Fortifier supplementation will be beneficial for equine athletes, breeding mares and stallions, young growing horses, senior horses, show horses, horses being transported, immune-challenged horses and other horses with special nutrition or health concerns. Does the Fortifier product replace the Fastrack® Probiotic Pack? A: The Fortifier product does not replace the Probiotic Pack product. The two products are complementary and will enhance the benefits associated with the other product. The Probiotic Pack features direct-fed microbials, enzymes and FOS as a foundation product to enhance digestive tract health, diet utilization and immune function. The Fortifier is formulated to meet the needs of competition and special need horses with an emphasis on enhancing immune function, joint health, reducing toxins while being calming to the horse. Does the Fortifier product replace the Fastrack® Equine Gel? A: The Fortifier product does not replace the Equine Gel. The two products are complementary and designed for challenged horses. The Equine Gel contains direct-fed microbials, specialized proteins and vitamins; and is administered to foals and horses at birth, during foaling, at weaning, during transporting, during off-feed periods, during antibiotic usage, following surgery or medication and other challenging periods. The Fortifier can be supplemented by mixing in the feed for horses eating during the above situations. Which herbs are included in the Fortifier product? What are their benefits? A: The Fortifier includes fennel, garlic, peppermint and rosemary. These herbs enhance immune function to bolster respiratory and digestive tract health, as well as being anti-inflammatory. Which chelated minerals are included in the Fortifier? What are their benefits? A: The Fortifier features chelated forms of zinc, manganese and copper. The chelation process increases the bioavailability of these important trace minerals. Research studies document that these minerals enhance immune function for improved respiratory and digestive tract health. Chelated trace minerals also aid in energy metabolism, fertility and joint health. Which antixodants are included in the Fortifier? What are their roles?
